Connecting generations and looking together at the future of drinking water |
|
KWR, together with the Dutch and Flemish drinking water utilities, celebrates 40 years of its Joint Research Programme. The GRROW Symposium was the first knowledge and networking event to be held as part of the 40-year celebration. Within the GRROW (Generational and Radical Rethinking of the Watersector) research project, the young generation of drinking water professionals designed different future scenarios for the provision of drinking water in the Netherlands and Flanders. Singapore World Water Day: Soaking in a month of non-stop action |

Every year Singapore dedicates the whole of March to Singapore World Water Day, when everyone plays a part to celebrate Singapore’s commitment to water conservation. Schools, corporates, and community partners join each year to make a splash of this national spirit, hosting activities like Water Wednesdays, serving up Blue Deals, and supporting iconic events like City Turns Blue. |

Circular Economy Solutions to Water Scarcity: Promoting Sustainability via Industrial Symbiosis |

During the United Nations General Assembly’s annual Water Conference in March, participants discussed commitments, pledges and actions across all water sectors. The conference opened a dialogue on the current issues with water and the novel approaches being developed to tackle them.
